South High Dance Team Named Hip Hop State Champions
Congratulations to the South High School Varsity Dance Team for earning the top spot in the division one hip hop category at the state dance competition! The team topped thirteen competing teams with their "Batman" themed routine. Not only is this the team's third year in a row as champions, it also marks their fifth hip hop championship within the past six years.

The team also took fifth out of fifteen teams in the division two pom category, making it their second year in a row to place in the top five. Trophies were awarded to the team, as well as individual medals for their victory. Congratulations on an amazing season! 

Members of the winning team include: Rachel Becker, Megan Bergin, Lauren Buckley, Alexis Champeau, Amy Cooper, Lauren Firgens, Taylor Haartman, Anastasia Herr, Holly Johnson, Lisa Lee, Mackenzie Linger, Maddy Ludwig, Sophia Ly, Baylee Payne, Sydnee Pribbernow, Mia Rabon, Kirstin Rieck, Madisyn Riste, Gabby Schaap, Zoe Schrameyer, Eden Slimmer, Tatum Spevacek, Payton Steinhardt, Elizabeth Xiong, Serena Yang, and coach Carlee Reinemann.
