Grant Funds Support School Breakfast Programs at Elementary Schools
The Sheboygan Area School District was awarded the “Action for Healthy Kids" grant to support school breakfast programs at Cooper, Jackson, Longfellow, James Madison and Wilson Elementary Schools.

Utilizing grant funds, the elementary schools received transport carts, milk barrels, tables, and a freezer. In addition, during National School Breakfast Week March 2 - 6 2015, students who ate breakfast at these schools received a special giveaway each day.

Giveaways included 'MyPlate' handouts, stickers, bookmarks, activity placemats and an eraser or pencil.

Each of these schools will also have the opportunity to participate in “Healthy Kids Day”, which is a special breakfast day at their school in April.
